Official Sinclaire Home Services Furnace-O-Saurus Contest Rules

(“Official Rules”)

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.

A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING.

Participation constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules and the decisions of Sinclaire Enterprises Inc. DBA Sinclair Home Service (“Sinclaire”), which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Furnace-O-Saurus Contest (“Contest”) and shall not be subject to appeal.

HOW TO ENTER

The Sinclaire Furnace-O-Saurus Contest (“Contest”) will begin on Monday, August 18, 2025, and all contest entries must be received by 12:00 PM on Friday, October 31, 2025.

To participate, visit https://sinclairehomeservices.com/free-furnace-contest/ and complete the online entry form. All fields must be completed for a valid entry. Multiple entrants may not share the same email address. Proof of submission does not constitute proof of receipt.

Entrants must provide:

  • Full name (first and last)
  • Street address, city, and zip code
  • Homeownership status (yes/no)
  • Estimated furnace age
  • Fuel type (natural gas, propane, fuel oil, or electricity)
  • Cell phone number
  • Email address
  • Photo of the furnace
  • Model and Serial number

Entrants must agree to the official contest rules and grant Sinclaire permission to use submitted content for promotional purposes.

Sinclaire reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant who does not complete the form in full. By entering, participants grant Sinclaire full permission to use their name, submitted photos, and any images or likenesses of the furnace, home exterior, homeowner, or related property in marketing and promotional materials without additional compensation. This serves as both a photo release and property release. Entrants agree to receive newsletters and other information from Sinclaire from time to time. Sinclaire lists or customer information will not be shared with other companies. Entrants can remove themselves from any subscription lists at any time by notifying Sinclaire by mail, phone, through the Sinclaire website, or by email of their desire to be removed from any lists.

The prize will be awarded to the entrant listed on the form whose furnace is verified by a Sinclaire Home Services technician as the oldest working unit.

Limit one entry per household. The furnace must be in use and in working condition. Entrants must be at least 21 years old and own the home where the furnace is located. The home must be located in one of the following Massachusetts service towns: Ashland, Attleboro, Bellingham, Blackstone, Bridgewater, Canton, Dedham, Dover, East Bridgewater, Easton, Foxborough, Framingham, Franklin, Holliston, Hopedale, Hopkinton, Mansfield, Medfield, Medway, Mendon, Milford, Millis, Millville, Milton, Natick, Needham, Newton, Norfolk, North Attleboro, Norton, Norwood, Plainville, Randolph, Raynham, Sharon, Stoughton, Sudbury, Taunton, Walpole, Wayland, Wellesley, West Bridgewater, West Roxbury, Weston, Westwood, Wrentham.

ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS

This contest is open to U.S. residents aged 21 and older at the time of entry who own the home listed and reside in one of the eligible service towns listed above.

  • Furnace must be a Forced hot air system (boilers/hot water systems are not eligible)
  • Valid ID and proof of residency may be required
  • Employees of Sinclaire and their family members are not eligible.

PRIZE

One prize will be awarded, consisting of:

  • One single-zone Bryant furnace unit* (Up to $9K) either oil or gas.
    • Oil Furnace – up to 86% efficient with up to 110,000 BTU.
    • Gas Furnace – up to 92% efficient with up to 80,000 BTU.
  • Delivery and professional installation

* Furnace capacity and efficiency will be determined in compliance with current building codes and recognized industry standards to ensure the home is heated adequately and efficiently.

Prize includes:

  • New Forced Hot Air Furnace
  • Removal of existing equipment
  • Connection to existing ductwork (with sealed transitions)
  • Reconnection to electrical and condensate drain (as-is condition)
  • Code-compliant installation with permits and inspections (Winner is responsible for permit fees)
  • Full system check and clean-up
  • 10-year manufacturer parts warranty (original winner only)
  • 1-year labor warranty from Sinclaire

The winning entry will be responsible for: Permit fees, taxes, duct system modifications (if necessary), any hazardous material removal and abatement (e.g., asbestos, mold, etc.), and any improvements needed to bring the installation in compliance with existing building and mechanical codes (any applicable costs will be discussed beforehand).

SELECTION OF WINNER

The entrant with the oldest verified working furnace, as recorded by 5:00 PM ET on November 13, 2025, will be declared the winner. The winner will be notified by phone and/or email.

Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. No purchase necessary.

All decisions by Sinclaire are final and binding.

TAX REPORTING

Any promotion with a prize valued at $600.00 or more results in tax implications. The winner acknowledges that the winner and the prize shall be reported to the Internal Revenue Service. The winner will be required to complete a prize validation form acknowledging that winner is aware, acknowledges and understands that winner will be responsible for taxes as a result of winning the Contest.

Winners are solely responsible for any and all local, State and Federal taxes on the prize, including sales or use taxes, as well as any expenses related to participation in the Contest and/or acceptance of the prize.

CONDITIONS

By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sinclaire, its owners, officers, agents, employees, affiliates, subsidiaries, and representatives from any injuries, loss, or damages to persons and/or property due in-whole or in-part, directly or indirectly, to the acceptance or use/misuse of the prize, participation in any promotion-related activity or participation in the Contest.

Prize is non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash. No entry fee or purchase is required.

Sinclaire reserves the right to end or amend the Contest at any time. Any changes will be posted at https://sinclairehomeservices.com/free-furnace-contest/.

TERMS

  • Sinclaire reserves the right, in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest should (in its sole discretion) a virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention, fraud or other causes beyond its control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the Contest. In such case, Sinclaire may select the recipients from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by Sinclaire.
  • Sinclaire reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or website or violates these Official Rules.
  • Sinclaire has the right, in its sole discretion, to maintain the integrity of the Contest, to void entries for any reason, including, but not limited to; multiple entries from the same user from different IP addresses; multiple entries from the same computer in excess of that allowed by Contest rules; or the use of bots, macros or scripts or other technical means for entering. Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any web site or undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest may be a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, Sinclaire reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.

GOVERNING LAW

All disputes concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules or the rights and obligations of entrants or Sinclaire in connection with the Contest shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. The parties hereby consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Norfolk County, Massachusetts, in any action relating to these Official Rules or the Sweepstakes.
